On December 4th, KBS released a list of 180 songs it had reviewed for broadcast, revealing that 173 of them had been approved.
G-Dragon’s latest release “Home Sweet Home” was among those deemed unfit for broadcast.
The song was viewed to be in violation of Article 46 of the Broadcasting Deliberation Regulations, which restricts product advertising. The lyrics for “Home Sweet Home” include a reference to Airbnb.
Songs can undergo a reevaluation process after correcting the issue.
“Home Sweet Home” was released on November 22, and features fellow Big Bang members Taeyang and Daesung. G-Dragon recently performed the song at his history-making MAMA 2024 performance in Osaka, Japan, where Big Bang reunited for the first time in nearly a decade.
